Ah..yes.... Okay, David Caruso said that back in January 2007. At a time when Caruso tried to make believe that he was on top of the world in both areas: career and realtionship. (In the meantime we all have learned THE TRUTH.)
While our readers have realized that David Caruso blurbs/brainfarts don't make sense most of the time this particuliar comment sticks out. Simply because it mirrors David Caruso's private life: his latest sperm-receptacle , tart Amina Islam, is almost 20 years his junior.
So WHY exactly do "younger women belong with older men"?
Maybe because younger women are so much more impresible?
Maybe because they think dating a "celeb" is cool?

Maybe because Caruso can form/control them better to fit his needs than women who already have a certain life experience and thus greater expectations ?
What is equally interesting and ought to be mentioned here is that no relationship to a younger women Caruso ever had lasted . Divorces and nasty break-ups are the rule. If it is all oh so great with younger women why does Caruso search for "diversifications" after a certain amount of time?
Obviously, those young women are too much for someone like Caruso's age too. That happens when reality and wishful thinking clash. OUCH!!!

Shelf warmers are items that sell slowly or not at all.
Just like this early picture of David Caruso and sister Joyce - taken in 1979. The photographer - Walter Paul Bebirian - put it up for sale (with a second picture - a Caruso headshot) back in 2007. Obviously there are no bids, since it is still there.

It could be the steep asking price - $ 15.000. Or the sad reality that despite CSI Miami David Caruso isn't that big a celebrity that someone would be interested or willing to pay that much money for a black-and-white photograph of a homely looking guy in bad clothes.*
Shelf warmer could also be used to describe David Caruso's career so far. Always only the second choice. Always only considered for jobs when the obvious choices declined the offer (NYPD Blue, CSI Miami....)

As it is a common denominator with a lot of things that David Caruso does this website is very flashy - on the outside . However, if one digs deeper, one turns up empty.

We doubt, that a video with a few Caruso-scenes taken from CSI Miami and NYPD Blue accompanied with bad music is enough to keep people interested.

Caruso seems to bank on his role with CSI Miami, obviously well aware that his name alone isn't worth shit. We were bored to death after watching it a second time.
Apart from a couple of videos the site doesn't offer really much: links to Lexicon Digital, Caruso Art and Stellar Digital Communications . Necessary background information is sadly missing.
In summary: Only for hardcore Caruso-fans who mindlessly agree to everything he does. A huge waste of time for all those who expect a bit more form a website than just flashy intros...

Ever wondered why David Caruso playes HoCaine in such an annoyingly overdramatic way? An explanation could lie in a comment Caruso made a few years ago to fellow actor Lance Reddick who had a cameo on CSI Miami (Season 3) :

".....In fact, that's what David Caruso said to me. We were talking about the whole Emmy thing, and he said that one of the things about awards in this town is that a lot is about the drama—like the drama of the performance. And he said "Your show (The Wire) looks so real, it almost looks like a documentary. And people who aren't artists—a lot of people who vote for this stuff—don't get it." *

So by Caruso's logic (which doesn't fly - no big surprise here) --HE should have been nominated eight times by now? But we all know that he hasn't.

The feeling that something is just too good to be true.
The feeling that something just scratches on the surface of things but avoids to dig deeper?
The feeling that some people only mention things that sugar-coat one persons behavior while deliberately ignoring not so positive events?
Yesterday, we watched "Biography: David Caruso" on A&E .

What can we say?

The bullshit meter went sky high. The episode was produced in 2008. However, we noticed TWO interesting things:

From all the people/cast working with David Caruso on CSI Miami ONLY Rex Linn spoke on Caruso's behalf. Where is the rest of the cast? (Obviously no one else was willing to pretend to like him) What does that tell us?

And nobody mentioned the public break-up of David Caruso and Liza Marquez while Marquez still was pregnant. How accurate/believable is a coverage that leaves out things like that?

While fans - the few he has left - might have enjoyed it others couldn't help but feel slightly nauseated upon so much syrup and (undeserved) praise....YUCK

1) How much child support do you pay?
We guess it is a shit-load of money. Not to forget the maintenance money for Liza. You play you pay, dude. It has always been that way.

2) You look bloated. Are you (still) drinking again?
Caruso seems to be aging by the minute. Looking anything but healthy. Remember: early sins always come back to bite you, dude.

3) Do you still dream in character?
If yes, maybe seeing a shrink would be a good idea. What will Caruso do if the show ceases to exist?

4) How long is your midlife crisis going to last?

It can't get lower than media-tart Amina Islam. Young, talentless, brainless, careerless - that's the way sugar daddy Caruso likes it.

We doubt Caruso realizes how ridiculous/needy that makes him look. Not in a life-time.

6) Whats the deal with you and Emily Procter?

Afraid that she might steal his limelight? Still the old diva. Still the same unbearable behavior/attitude. He fools no one. Left alone those who have to work with him.This conflict isn't going to be solved anytime soon.

Probably. Otherwise his relationship with Marquez wouldn't have ended the way it did . Very ugly.

Obviously , David Caruso's kind of humor is not understood /appreciated by everyone. Somone with a sound knowledge of human nature knows when to play a prank and when not. But then, its David Caruso we are talking about here....

We found an interesting tidbit by someone who has not exactly fond memories of David Caruso:

.....I wonder if Howard (Stern) has any memory of how I almost kicked his tail. A similar incident happened between me and David Caruso on just about the same piece of sidewalk, when he impersonated a Manchester police officer to me, and caused me to become rather angry. He did this in the presence of his erstwhile costar, who I asked, "Are you with him?" to which he demurred, seeing how upset I was.
That was just before their first season of that ABC police show set in New York City, and before Caruso's Hollywood movie career, and long before he got his new gig as Miami police inspector H____ on that syndicated TV Police Show that followed. Coincidence is a great helper if one searches for juciy tidbits. A random string of words led us to the following "revelation". Once again we have been taught that everything is possible when it comes to David Caruso and his zipper that never closes, right?
The lady in question , who goes by the name Megan Helms-King, was born in England in 1977 and is currently living in New Jersey. According to her website her claim to fame is being a female wrestler. She also won 1 Golden Globe and 2 Emmys.

If one scrolls further down in Megan's biography you'll find references to her involvment with various celebs. It is claimed that she has slept with David Caruso - among others.*
Looks like the lady has been around the block a few times. But so has David Caruso...

Yesterday we blogged about possible cutbacks/freezes for the lead actors employed by CBS. Today they following Blind Item popped up on the Internet. Coincidence? Maybe. However, interesting enough for us to be mentioned here.

There is a hint about the advanced age of the actor and his less than appealing looks.
There is a hint about the actor being overly dramatic and irritating. Clues that fit David Caruso to the T. The guesses from commenters/readers are like echos resounding through the woods....It is probably David Caruso.....It is probably David Caruso....

....Which dramatic actor is irritating producers with his salary demands? In this economy, many actors on shows with solid ratings are foregoing the usual demands for raises in order to keep their cast and crew intact and their show in production. Not this guy. With the recession in full swing it is no wonder that there are cutbacks in the Entertainment industry too.

Recently, Ausiello posted an interesting article about CBS warning its lead actors that there will be probably no raise for them this year. That the likes of Caruso, Harmon and Fishburne will have to get by with ther 250.000 + an episode-salary.*
Our heart goes out to those unfortunate souls....NOT.
On the contrary. We have been wondering for a while now what in the world justifies the ludicrously high salary Caruso earns per episode? It can't be his previous success (Caruso had nothing but failures before he signed up for CSI Miami. ) or his talent (that Caruso sadly is lacking) . And certainly not his acting on the show - Caruso's performance is subpar/uninspired at best.
While it only would be sane and fair to agree to a freeze we can imagine that the old boy will be gritting his teeth. Caruso has huge financial obliagtions that need to be met every month: child-support count two, maintenance for a greedy EX and a career/jobless sperm receptacle that needs to be kept amused.
It will be interesting to see if Caruso plays hardball and rather sees another cast member let go than forgo a raise. Wouldn't be the first time that greed gets the better of him...

After every medium known to mankind reported about Christian Bales faux-pas the actor publicly apologized for his bad behavior. We applaud the effort. No matter how bad the situation there are no excuses to act out like that.
Which brings us to David Caruso. How many times has he acted out? How many times has he thrown temper-tantrums for no reason? Just because nobody had the good sense to record those tirades (yet) doesn't mean they don't happen. On the contrary. We think they occur more often than we can imagine or hear about.
Remains the question when will David Caruso apologize to those who have the bad luck to have to work with him and who have to endure his outbreaks? Other cast-members, crew, technicians etc. What about the young director he bullied?* Or Emily Procter?
When will David Caruso show some backbone and apologize? Just because he allegedly is a perfectionst doesn't mean that everything is excuseable.
However, in order to apologize one has to realize that one has made a mistake. And we highly doubt David Caruso is mature/insightful enough to find fault in his behavior.

We are far from criticizing Caruso's decisions/choices as to how and where he spends time with his son. But, we are sure the little boy would have preferred to have his father all to himself to having lunch with two complete strangers. Thankfully, he is too young to realize where his fathers' real priorities lay.
David Caruso may tell the world that he is a father in the first place. However, he is also a celeb who likes to suck up "the love" he gets from fans/cameras whenever possible. Even when the boy is around. Some things never change....

David Caruso - A red (receding) matter

The above (very recent) picture had us realize that David Caruso is facing a huge problem - among many other problems : his receding hairline.

The front hair piece is thining fast and furios. Sooner or later it will be gone entirely. Which undoubtedly will cause old man Caruso some distress since the red hair is his trademark.
Decisions will have to be made: going bald like fellow cast member Rex Linn or doning a wig? However, we can imagine that finding a wig in Caruso's natural hair-color will be a difficult task.
Caruso could shave his pubic hair and try to weave a wig out of it. But then, who would want to wear his own pubes on his head?
Good people that we are we did some research and believe to have found a wig whose color bears a striking resemblance to Caruso's natural hair (See picture to the right!). And the best: it doesn't cost a fortune! Our guess, 50 bucks the most.
Since David Caruso has to pay a hefty sum in monthly child support plus maintenance for his Ex and media-tart/sperm-receptacle Amina Islam we can imagine he would want to save a dime or two whenever possible.
Receding hairline or not, David Caruso doesn't have to worry about ONE thing: as long as his mug appears on TV he ALWAYS will find/have a fuck-buddy...

Why might we believe the tabloids?
Well, they could be sued for false or misleading information by celebrities who have all the resources to file lawsuits that come to trial. Therefore, tabloids research very thoroughly and make sure their sources pass scrunity before they print a story. Retractments are printed very very seldomly .
We found an old tidbit (1996) in which David Caruso's lawyer demands a retractment. The National Enquirer however, stood behind the story and ignored the request. Personally, we never doubted the veracity of the article in question **:

Be it in his chosen profession or in his private life Caruso drops one clanger after the other: i. e. the constant change of partners, non-sensical comments/quotes , his attitude etc. He is a prime source of amusement/ridicule for critics, comedians, other celebrities and TV-viewers alike.

Yesterday, we remarked that David Caruso's attempts at being an intellectual always fall short of the mark .

Today, we like to sink our teeth (with great pleasure and glee) into a comment that may look inconspicious at first. However, in light of what happened only a few weeks after the interview one can't help but smirk:

"No, but if I did," he says with a laugh, "it would say: 'Chinese proverb: Listen to Liza. She's probably right.'" *

Obviously, David Caruso not only forgot about the Chinese proverb , he also didn't care what Liza had to say. Not long after his interview with Cigar Afficionado he walked out on a pregnant Liza to take a roll between the sheets with a hot Miami night club executive.**
Admittedly, we would have loved to see the magazine doing a follow-up. Kind of confronting Caruso with his statements in February 2007 and comparing them to the state-of-(private) affairs in July 2007. We are sure, someone would have been hard-pressed to explain.
In summary: Whenever David Caruso starts talking about his bed-bunnies, partner, tarts, and fuck-buddies one can be sure that the shit is about to hit the fan.

Watch the video and note how David Caruso rambles about real-life crises and situations ....blah, blah, blah. Someone should tell that dork that he hardly is an expert in those things. He's just an actor who has been playing the same ridiculous role for a couple of years...

Most of the time David Caruso's quotes make little to no sense or are ridiculously self-serving. The above is no exception.
Normal people do whatever they can to make their wishes/dreams come true. Some even go to greath lengths to see them being realised - sooner or later. Normal people, mind you. Don't forget, its David Caruso we are talking about here.
The comment is puzzling at best. It also raises legit questions: Was Caruso sober when he made that statement ? What use is it to dream about something when in the end one is too afraid to face those dreams when they finally come true?
Either David Carusos wishes/dreams are so outrageously unrealistic and bizarre that he realizes - or at least his peasized brain does - that they'll never materialize anyway (i.e. like having a box-office hit; receiving an award for his performance; commiting himself to a relationship that lasts forever).
Or there is simply no deeper meaning behind this comment. He just made it to have anything to say at all. Would not be the first time.

Various sources report today that charismatic CSI lead actor William Petersen will receive his own star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame. A well deserved honor for a great actor!

Not surprisingly, soon questions arose as to why David Caruso wasn't considered too.

The Walk of Fame categories include motion pictures, television, radio, recording and live theatre performance. The committee selects approximately 12-15 names for insertion into the Walk. All honorees must be approved by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, the decisions of which are final and entirely within the Chamber's Discretion. Now we are having a very hard time ( and we are sure the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce would have to) finding anything in David Caruso's life/career that would qualify for the category of "benefitting the community".

Countless movie flops, bad decisions, bad acting and generally being a miserable son of a bitch won't qualify. So does playing the same lifeless boring role for more than six years.

Besides, there is the little amount of $ 25.000 that has to be paid upon nomination/approval. We doubt anyone would be ready to give away that much money only to have David Caruso immortalized. Left alone Caruso himself, whose monthly fixed expenses for two houses, kids, Exes and tarts are rumored to make a huge dent into his finances.

Ironically, the few delusionals who see the need to defend David Caruso no matter what, always come up with examples of his alleged "goodness". Those examples don't exactly exonerate him. However, they show what a huge control freak he is.
As a rule, insecure people always try/want to control other people. The preferred tool: money. They set actions that may make them look good in the first place. However, if you look beneath the surface one quickly recognizes the real reasons behind those actions.
We found a lot of humor/irony in the following comment. So we decided to add a few observations of our own:

We are not saying its David Caruso. Or is it ? However, the characteristics fit. Tags like prima donna, tantrum, egomaniac etc. have people automatically thinking "David Caruso".
Did anyone check CSI Miami DVD-covers lately? Seasons 3, 5, 6 -covers show David Caruso's head only. Whereas season 4 DVD-box has David Caruso prominentely front and center while the rest of the cast is much smaller depicted in the background.
If it is indeed Caruso Ausiello is referring to is not known. However, it is not difficult to image that scenes like that could have taken place (on the set of CSI Miami). Everything is possible where David Caruso is concerned.

We like this picture. For several reasons.

It was taken in November 2007 at the PubCon in Las Vegas. David Caruso is waiting for the husband of the pretty lady next to him to get his camera ready.

Obviously he is not aware that someone else already is taking pictures. Otherwise, he would have put on the usual stupid show he has down pat whenever he espies a camera.
To us, Caruso appears to be a bit impatient. He's eager to get it done. He also looks old and tired. Kowtowing to the media for hours obviously takes its toll - even on a (media) lick spit like Caruso.

What a startling difference to the smirk he constantly wears when he's prepared/ready to pose. This picture is far more candid than most and thus a rare find. Thank you to whomever.

Regular readers of our blog know that we disagree with the highly foolish notion (by certain foolish people) that caricatures are in general a praise for the person that is being caricatured .

We think, those artworks are solely created to make fun of a person - and not in a (very) positive way.
This masterpiece proves us right once again. It is by a talented artist who publishes his works it on a webpage called "deviantart".
Please note the attention to details that was given to David Carusos visibly receeding hairline and the face . However, a few more deep wrinkles could have been added here and there. Other than that this is a very accurate caricature.

Intellectually stimulating? No kidding.
The above print only stimulates one thing - the risible muscle while we are convulsing with laughter. Clearly, we fail to see what some overzealously like to refer to as "another facet in the complexity that is David Caruso".

Some time ago renowned online-magazine Forbes.com* put up an article about a survey examining the sex lives of actors and musicians. The survey, conducted by Redding, Conn., wealth-research firm Prince & Associates, found that stars of the silver screen, television and pop music are quite proficient at having Olympian volumes of sex with more partners and in more unusual places than you probably have.

The factors most important to the guys were being able to enjoy "higher-quality" sex (79.5%), having more partners (67%) and having "more adventurous and/or exotic" sex (62%). About 80% of the male celebrities believed their fame and fortune had improved their sex lives.*
It doesn't require a leap of the imagination to guess that one of this guys easily could be David Caruso who - as we all know by now - likes to step out on partners/wifes whenever opportunity knocks.
Even if the survey should be taken with a grain of salt the message remains essentially correct.

Does anybody really think a freckly, badly aging D-list actor like David Caruso would be able to bed media tarts like Amina Islam , Gina or Liza Marquez would he be Joe the Plumber? Or that he would be considered serious dating material if his mug wouldn't show up on the TV-screen once a week?

Well, tastes differ.
What is art for one is anything but for the other. We take our hat of to all the REAL ARTISTS who embellish our lives with their works. However, we have no patience with those who try their hand at this and that - without real talent for anything.

Like David Caruso.
Coloring the American flag yellow and red may be art for David Caruso but for sure it isn't art for us. We doubt there is anyone out there who would be willing to pay $ 4.500 for Caruso's dreck.

A few days ago we observed that David Caruso doesn't possess good judgement - neither in front of the camera nor off camera. Today we stumbled across an anecdote that proves us right.

Sometimes, if you set your goals too high or if you are too delusional about your talents (or the apparent lack thereof) like Caruso, you foolishly pass good opportunities.

In this case it was The Substitute *:

...Choice number three: David Caruso......He looked older and somewhat world-weary. His face suggested a past, one that hasn't always been rosy. If Life Entertainment had to have a flavor of the moment, David Caruso was one we could live with......They offered him $ 2 Mill. More than he had gotten for Kiss of Death or Jade. And he passed. .......Kiss of Death and Jade had been perceived as failures. More importantly, they had been perceived as Caruso-failures. He felt he had one more big screen shoot and didn't think Life Entertainment possessed the clout to get the movie into enough theatres. He was wrong...The Substitute opened in April 1996 on 1.800 screens across the country...

Instead, Caruso went and made the unwatchable straight to video-affair " Cold Around the Heart" which ultimately buried his movie-career. Just one more example of Caruso's bad judgement. But then, bad judgements like this run like a red threat through his entire career/life....LOSER.

It happens all the time. Especially with oodles of webseits/blogs that can be found on the internet. There are comments/blurbs that have one burst out laughing. Or at least , have us scratch our head in wonderment.
We had such a WTF?-moment today:

Okay. Now, this doesn't make sense. At least not to us.

Making money as a new art form? David Caruso and art? Can anything that David Caruso does seriously be labelled as art? Do pigs fly?
We strongly suspect, that in this case the wish was father to the tought.
Even if Lexicon Digital manages to get off to a good start - which remains to be seen - it is still just an opportunity to make money. Money David Caruso needs. After all, there are many mouths he has to feed - the EX , their kids and sperm receptacle Amina Islam just to name a few.

David Caruso - Terrible

We don't know who made this video, but its simply terrible.
David Caruso's monotone voice hurts our ears. His spend face forces itself upon the viewer in a very unsettling manner. Besides, we never knew Caruso's teeth were so yellow...yuck.

iTelevise.....iTelevise......iTelevise ..me ...Caruso repeats over and over again.

This video could easily be used as torture instrument in Guantanamo Bay. We can imagine that even the most notorious Al Quaida-terrorists would rather surrender than to have to listen to this terrible monolouge.
Its plain ridiculous. Either the writers couldn't come up with better material or Caruso just isn't able to memorize more than four words.
The TV-spot is not very good. It doesn't "reach" us. Even if we wouldn't know who and what Caruso is, we wouldn't be interested in the product. Simply because the TV-spot is anything but appealing. On the contrary, after watching it for the third time we started to get annoyed.
Like with everything that Caruso does, it remains to be seen if "iTelevise" will take off the ground at all...

A-listers reigned supreme at the 35th Annual People's Choice Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. The People's Choice Awards is an awards show recognizing the people and the work of popular culture.
Top television honors went to House and Two and Half Men with Hugh Laurie and Christina Applegate winning Favorite Male and Female TV star.
We all have read the rants by Caruso-fans that David Caruso allegedly is loved and appreciated "all over the globe". Well, apparently it ain't so. Yesterday's award show made that more than clear.
When was the last time Caruso got nominated or has received an award for anything (related to his "work")? Does anybody even remember?
Now, one or the other ignorant chatterbox may argue that David Caruso doesn't do award shows because he doesn't care. We think, that is only a praphrase for "he hardly ever gets nominated/invited".

Truth to be told , most people think his performance is crap at best. So, Caruso regularily gets overlooked, snubbed, nixed.....
We think, the only time David Caruso will get nominated for an award will be when they'll launch an event to appoint the biggest asshole in the business. We are sure he would win that category by a mile....

Let's face it people, David Caruso will remain the same obnoxious bastard he has been all his life. Another birthday won't change a thing.

We are sure he will keep up his rotten attitude (especially towards lovely Emily Procter) and ridiculous on-set-behavior.

David Caruso - Only the second fiddle

How does CSI Miami differ from the other two shows of the franchise - except for being badly written, badly acted and badly edited?

That its lead David Caruso puts himself front and center all the time. Which is all-too evident in the latest Internet scuttlebutt about a possible CSI/CSI Miami crossover.

We are not in the least surprised that Caruso would welcome a cross-over with CSI and its new lead Laurence Fishburne. After all, Fishburne's premiere episode boosted CSI 's excellent ratings even higher. Ratings CSI Miami only can dream about.
With Caruso's steadily weakening performance, meager ratings and scripts that seem to be written by first-graders TPTB obviously are desperate to "beef up" CSI Miami's mediocre 7th season with numerous guest apperances - Sean Combs, Lucy Lawless etc. - and cross-overs.
Needless to say that many CSI fans aren't too happy about the idea. Understandable. CSI is classes above CSI Miami .

Besides having David Caruso playing next to REAL TALENTS like Fishburne would make one thing painfully clear - that David Caruso is only SECOND RATE. In EVERYTHING he does. Be it in front of the camera or off-camera...

Some time ago we set up a wikizine - an interactive magazine . The plan was to have a website where many past and present articles about David Caruso are consolidated. We have put in a lot of time to collect, scan and file them. Now it seems that this wikizine comes in handy.
One gets a pretty good picture of the "early David Caruso" - or like someone calls it David Caruso's PCS-PCSI:MSF Period = Post Career Suicide-Pre CSI:MIAMI Sunglasses Fetish Period .

We read continually of this rumor and that story. And we are very thankful that people decide to come forward with what they know.

We read posts by certain people who attempt to downplay facts. Understandable. Who wants to read about bad behavior by ones favorite object of desire?

However, folks - there is always truth in rumors. Only the very ignorant and very naive will think otherwise.

*David Caruso is addicted to Diet Coke - That is a fact. It has been well documented/reported by people who had the questionable pleasure to work on the set with him. Very believable reports.

*David Caruso is an alcoholic - That is a fact: David went to AA meetings 15 years ago after a period of heavy drinking. It was also reported that he went there again when his 3rd marriage to Margaret Buckley broke apart. Once an alcoholic always an alcoholic. You can't shed an addiction like that like a second skin.

*David Caruso beds women routinely, on set and off - That is a fact: David Caruso is three times divorced with every new relationship starting while still married. And there is the very public split between Caruso and Liza Marquez. Marquez was dumped 2 weeks before she gave birth for another woman. Do we need to say more?

*David Caruso is obnoxious on the set - That is a fact: Caruso may be a a perfectionist which sometimes is nothing but a polite paraphrase for tyrant.Most of the countless complaints come from set members, former collagues and employees who quit because of Caruso and his unbearable behavior. Realiable sources as opposed to those who worship him.

*David Caruso has no other offers for movies, tv, commercials, beyond CSI Miami - That is a fact: we know know about claims that he "choses his options carefully". Which is just a paraphrase for the fact that people aren't exactly breaking through his door to offer him movie-roles, TV-spots, projects etc. Understandable with all the failures he has under his belt.

*David Caruso is camera ready at all times - That is a fact: Countless examples come to our mind: the complete fool Caruso made of himself in Paris, at the pumpkin patch in LA, publicily licking the face of sperm receptacle Amina Islam in Miami. We wouldn't be surprised if he would call the paparazzi himself to let them know where they can find him.

*David Caruso is a great father - We highly doubt that. Caruso may devote time to his two children out of wedlock. However, it is also a fact that he dumped their mother and left them before the second child was born. Face it David Caruso is a weekend father - like so many other men too.

David Caruso - Endorsements

Endorsements is nice work if you can get it for the actors, entertainers, sports figures, and well-known names in general. The pay is good. The time commitment is minimal.

The list of TV-celebs who have been chosen as spokespersons for certain products is impressive: Courteney Cox for Kinerase, Felicity Huffman for QVC, Sean Combs for Ciroc Vodka, Josh Holloway for Davidoff , Patrick Dempsey for Avon and CSI Miami' s lovely Emily Procter who was able to land a lucrative deal with Charriol.
Today we have been musing about WHAT kind of product David Caruso possibly could endorse - would sponsors ever be interested in offering him a deal. (We happen to know that Caruso wouldn't say no to a juicy deal!)
The main problem however, could be Caruso's believabilty - or better the lack thereof. We can hardly see him endorsing beauty or hair care products. We don't see him as spokesperson for fashion labels like Armani or Boss (hunched back, bad posture) either. Unfortunately for Caruso Coca-Cola (Caruso's love for Diet Coke is well documented*) isn't into signing up badly aging TV D-listers .
Mabye Alcoholics Anonymous could be interested - after all David Caruso has been actively participating in their meetings throughout the years. Caruso would be the ideal spokesperson for the support group. The message: If there is hope for someone like him than there is hope for everyone!

David Caruso - Health Issues?

There have been hints from longstanding readers. Renowned bloggers have kept mentioning it over the past weeks and months. Reason enough for us to give it a thought or two as well. And what better day to do so than on the first day of a new year!

What's up with David Caruso's health?

We hear from various sources that David Caruso allegedly has to deal with mounting health problems. Obviously, it is more than just a bad back or a bad knee. It has not gone unnoticed by many viewers that Caruso's eyes have become so small and beady one can't see them anymore.
David Caruso seems to be literally falling apart on the TV-screen in front of us. And the apparent puffyness of his face on the picture doesn't look too healthy (at least to us) either.
We only can guess how much convincing by the producers of the show was necessary to have Caruso perform his own stunt (However, the result was less than thrilling!) - namely, carrying an actress across the lawn before a house goes up in flames (CSI Miami episode 7.11 Tipping Point).
Seriously. This guy is only 53 years old and already starting to look like a complete wreck. Could it be that the aftermath of past sins (alcoholism) is slowly catching up with old man Caruso?
CSI Miami may or may not last another two seasons. The question is - will Caruso last that long?

We would like to end this interesting year with a special goody. A "blind item" we'll call "Three blind mice". Regular readers of our blog will recognize the players immediately:
Hollywood couldn't write a better story: A man, two women, two children , a zipper that gets opened way too often and pants that get dropped way too easily.
Some time ago an obnoxious male specimen of the human race impregnated a Latina beauty twice - after promising her to marry her soon. Well, time went by, said Latina beauty was ready to give birth a second time when male specimen walked out the door to pursue greener pastures.
Soon male specimen got bored with the new toy and tried to make good again with dumped (and now a bit plump) Latina who was vegetating as single parent with two kids out of wedlock. Obviously, it wasn't more than a halfheartedly try. Because very soon one saw philandering male specimen publicily licking the face of a young woman of questionable Islamic origins.
In no time horny old male goat was playing musical houses - removing abandoned Latina plus love-children from their home to make room for the newly aquired bed-bunny. Obviously, said male specimen has no problem with shoving people around like chess-figures.
So, can we assume that Latina, children, male ego and new tart live happily ever after as one big happy family? Or are there - lo and behold - shadows in paradise?
Well...maybe if it wouldn't be for those oh so annoying rumors . Rumors that just won't die down.... and that said male specimen goes on extended trips ALONE and openly flirts with other women doesn't help the cause either.
Maybe the New Year will bring answers to one or the other burning question....

While people all around the globe are busy making New Year's Resolutions there will be no big surprises when it comes to David Caruso .

Being the obnoxious human being he is , Caruso most likley will make the same mistakes, bloopers and bad decisions over and over again. And he will keep on entertaining the public with private lunacies - voluntarily or not.
There are some things that are just not going to happen - not in 2009 not ever:

David Caruso - Diddly Squat

Every year at this time we ask ourselves and the people around us: What have we done this past year that deserves to be mentioned? Do we have reason to be proud of ourselves? Or should we rather retreat into silence?
Today we ask: what has David Caruso done the last 12 months that makes him stand out from the rest? Something that is not terribly self-serving or childish for a change? Apart from playing the same dull one-dimensional role on TV as always without any real character-development? Apart from shamelessly promoting himself (in Paris) ?
If we remember correctly, it has been years since we have heard about David Caruso participating in any of the "Best Buddies"- events. He may be a member of the board of directors of that organization - but when was the last time he actively showed up at one of their events? Too little time, to little interest or both?
And no folks, evicting his kids plus Liza from their home to make room for media tart Amina doesn't exactly count as good deed either , does it?*
Last but not least, we have yet to see anything noteworthy coming from LEXICON Digital. Sucessful endeavours clearly look differently.
So we think, hat it is a safe thing to say that David Caruso has let another year go by without really achieving anything.

We started labelling David Caruso's latest bed bunny, Background Extra without credits Amina Islam, tart because we felt everything about this woman just screams cheap: her looks, her clothes - especially those tacky rhinestone -studded things - her whole demeanor when photographed.

We could not come up with a different identifier, no matter how hard we tried. To us, tart seemed to be the only fitting term.
Now, we found out - to our utter surprise - that tart ...respectively media tart is an official term for people who use their private life as a vehicle for enhanced celebrity status....*
So Amina Islam's offical occupational title is media tart ! And it fits her to the T, we think.
Why?
Very simple. If Amina Islam wouldn't spread them for David Caruso NOBODY would know who she is left alone care. We highly doubt that she was on the way of becoming a "serious actress" before she met David Caruso. Thanks to screwing a D-list TV-actor Amina Islam upgraded from obscurity to media-tart.

The Internet-user gets besieged with countless surveys, games, polls . All those things answer only one purpose - to find out who is hot and who is not.
We have visited several websites/blogs over the course of several days . All of them were eager for us to leave our opinion on actors, movies, events, politician etc. Sometimes wie did . Sometimes we did not. There were just too many to serve all of them equally well.

David Caruso - Getting too old?

Has anyone watched CSI Miami lately? Reruns or new episodes?

If yes, the attentive viewer might have noticed that David Caruso's movements, line readings etc . - in short his whole demeanor - has become kind of sluggish. Thick layers of make-up can't hide the all to distincitive signs of rapid aging anymore.

We have seen a lot of video-footage lately and - with the exception of the Paris-video where Caruso whored it up to the cameras/paparazzis. One couldn't help but feel slightly embarrassed by so much attention-seeking - we couldn't shake the impression that Caruso is merely sleepwalking trough the notions. The latest on-set video-interviews clearly lack the verve of earlier times.

Regular Botox-shots, hair-transplants and lifeless performances - the signs are all there. The only thing that's getting younger and younger are Caruso's bed bunnies.

We would like to wind up this article with a very recent comment by renowned blogger/scriptwriter Jane Genova :

The last few years have seen a steady coming and going of several women . All of them at least 10-15 years his junior. Obviously Caruso likes them young, crispy and dumb. (Amina Islam anyone?)
Anyway, our dear Jeannie - a very talented artist and good friend - made the above drawing for us. She predicts that one day in the near future David Caruso's constant urge to get into as many panties as possible could lead to a serious judgemental error. (Which wouldn't be the first time ...LOL. )

With as many financial obligations as David Caruso has to fulfill one can understand that he won't say no to making one quick buck or the other. Especially at Christmas.

The New York Entertainment magazine reports today that there is a new CSI Miami iPhone game on the market. According to the magazine it is the "...best worst app to download they ever have come across since the Virtual Zippo lighter..."

We are sure Caruso's profit participation in this won't be too small.

So, if you can't get enough of Carusos subpar and mediocre acting on Monday nights hop over to the next Apple dealer of your confidence and purchase the game.

In addition to the fun (of playing the game) you also might be doing a good deed: helping David Caruso to meet his financial obligations. Every buck counts!

We stumpled upon this highly felicitous caricature coincidentally.

Since David Caruso knows one thing or two ( Or at least he likes to PRETEND that he does.) about French art we are sure he will like this great piece of work by French caricaturist B. Daullé.

We are more than thrilled by the high attention to detail the artist dedicated to Carusos pug face. Especially noteworthy are the hammer-nose and the prominent chin.

Our blog has always attracted an eclectic readership. A big group of people with good taste and a great sense of humor. We like that.

While most of our readers may read a specific article, never staying to read comments some do grace our blog with one or the other very interesting message .
As you may know, yesterday we posted an article about David Caruso , his trip to Paris and the fact that tart Amina Islam was obviously not invited.*

It received the following noteworthy comment:

WE do. In fact, Caruso has been "freelancing" all his life - married or not, in a relationship or not. He is an old pro at freelancing. Wham, bam , thank you, Ma'am!

Many of our visitors have been musing about WHY David Caruso didn't take his latest sperm receptacle, tart Amina Islam, to Paris with him.
You know - Paris, France. The capitol of romance,couture,fine dining,art. Show us one woman who wouldn't want to go there!

After watching David Caruso putting on his usual show for ther paps on several x17-videos (Thank you, guys!) . After watching his more than obvious whoring it up to the cameras we think we might know the answer: Caruso just didn't need her!

He had the time of his life with the people at the art gallery and sculptor Ben Berman. He was enjoying himself immensely with all the attention he attracted.

However, what does that tell us about the quality of the "relationship" between the tart and the badly aging D-list actor ? What self-respecting woman would accept that her live-in-boy-friend rather take her not on an extended trip? Hmmm...

As one of our readers so succinctly put....."Maybe she is not the woman he wanted to take to Paris."

Makes sense.

While a trashy (dressed) David Caruso did some (art) sightseeing in Paris and equally trashy tart Amina Islam was obviously house-sitting in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles, one of Caruso's business partners - Nils LAHR - broadened his horizons by joining Abacast Inc. of Camas, Wash, Board of Advisors.

Looks like the rumors that Lexicon Digital has been shelved are sad reality. And Mr. Lahr already has left for greener pastures.

Lexicon Digital - another Caruso failure or so it seems. Is anyone surprised?

No, not really.

However, we aren't too shocked either. After all, what is another Caruso-failure in a long list of failures?

We have to agree with the good people from purepeople.com that Caruso was highly improperly dressed (we posted about it before - see link) for visits in galleries and for the icy climate.

People are always judged by their actions . That's a fact of life. What is good for Joe the Plumber is good for David Caruso as well.

The French press tagged David Caruso "Collector of Conquests".

Yellow Press power houses Globe/National Enquirer call him CSI Stud or Serial Womanizer.(Which in our book are polite paraphrases for fornicator.)

We like ALL of them.

Very few highly delusional souls - known as David Caruso fans/"friends" - apparently prefer neither. The silence is deafening whenever one of the above - very fitting - synonyms are used to describe David Caruso. Or they desperately try damage-control with half-truths that fit their needs. And which are never accurate. A dog is a dog is a dog. Even if you tie a bow around it.

David Caruso never will be tagged "art connoisseur ". No matter how hard he tries to pretend to be interested in art.

David Caruso never will be tagged "serious actor" (Which would be a huge affront to every REAL ACTOR out there). No matter how hard he tries to be one.

Let's face it - a rotten on-set attitude, painfully absent talent and serial womanizing are Caruso's only real claims to fame.

We just can't help it. We know that many of our visitors/fans have already read it many many times. And every time it is still so exhilarating that we just have to mention it.

So....

What does David Caruso take with him when he goes "art-seeing" in Paris, France?:

* A second change of clothes? (NO. He rather wears the same trashy things all the time. See picture.)
* His kids (No. Certainly not.)
*Tart/sperm receptacle Amina Islam ? (Apparently not . But then, WHO would take his bed-bunny to Paris anyway?)

The only thing that Caruso always carries around with him , no matter what time of the day or where he is are - tada, who would have guessed? - presigned autograph cards! The one and only thing he never leaves home without!

Even if handing them out at prestigeous art-events might (rightfully) be considered as absolu indisposé by some.

Ain't it good to know that some things never change?? LOL !

Our friend Jeannie commented on it yesterday. Her take is, that David Caruso dresses down whenever out on events like that. (SNBA Galleries, Carrousel du Louvre ,Paris, France )

We think she is right. The difference between the well-dressed European gentlemen on the right and Caruso's "Everybody loves Earl"-trailer style is startling.

Whether dressing like a rocker is part of his apparent midlife-crisis or rhinestone-tart Amina Islams bad influence or just the lack of sense of style we can't say. Whatever it is , it looks plain ridiculous.

Just like with women David Caruso's art preferences seem to vary constantly. In March* he was crazy about Chinese contemporary art. Now it is the French version . Doesn't necessarily mean he is an expert or knows what he is dealing with. However, art is a good investment and after kicking out Liza and the kids to make room for the tart, he has space enough again to hang up one or the other piece...

We hear, Caruso has been handing out pre-signed autograph-cards again. At an art gallery! The douche just can't help it, can he?

Well, wannabe art connoisseur David Caruso obviously mixed business with pleasure and educated himself in contemporary French art. Plus he got some love from the cameras. What more can someone like him ask for?
A word to the wise: Caruso's latest sperm receptacle , tart Amina Islam, seems to be conspicously MIA. We ask, why wouldn't anyone take his latest bed-bunny to an event like this? Too ignorant, too ugly to be taken to the galleries or just "indisposed" ?

Finding ourselves in a slightly sarcastic mood we decided to make good use of it and rip into comments/blurbs that keep us amused indefintely.
Recently, someone babbled about "David Caruso's gift to the public" - whatever that may be. (Although, we have a hunch, that the commenter meant Caruso's acting!).

Personally, we have a different take on David Caruso bringing entertainment to our homes. This kind of entertainment stems not from the stuff he does in front of the camera .

On the contrary.

It is what he does off-camera that amuses us so much. Caruso's private oops! and whoops! are indeed very entertaining. Leading yellow press publications have dubbed three-time-divorcee Caruso "serial womanizer". Loving 'em and droping 'em at will. The older Caruso gets the younger his conquests/bed-bunnies/tarts get. Some call it the Sugar-Daddy-Syndrome.
Hooking up with sultry bartenders while a live-in girl-friend is about to pop is just as amusing , as his little pumpkin-patch show. Or evicting his children plus ex-lover from their house to set up a lover's nest for his latest ethnic sperm receptacle.
Those are just a few of the stories that make the rounds. WE are sure, there is much more to come. Thanks to people who are willing to share their knowledge with the rest of the world.
